East Campus Academies
Applied Technology This academy offers students interested in the career fields of technology, engineering, architecture, digital design, woodworking, and automotive technology a change to participate in classroom as well as hands on instruction in these fields. Sample careers would include: architect, engineer, fabricator, automotive technician, carpenter, or graphic designer.
Sports Medicine This academy offers students interested in a health career a chance to participate in classroom as well as hands on instruction in this area. Sample careers would include sports training, physical therapist, and doctor.
Consumer Family Services This academy is targeted for students interested in the career fields of interior and fashion design, culinary arts, hospitality, tourism and recreation (All students will have Consumer Family Services I as an elective course which includes cooking and sewing).
West Campus Academies
Ag Academy This academy is designed to meet all state mandated learning essentials in the areas of Biology and Chemistry while using agricultural concepts as themes. These courses provide a foundation to those students interested in pursuing a career in agriculture while offering the opportunity to place an emphasis on agriculture within their academic required classes.
Nursing This academy offers students interested in a health career a chance to participate in classroom as well as hands on instruction in this area. Sample careers would include nursing, pharmacist, health technician, respiratory therapist, medical transcriptionist and dental hygienist.
Business/Entrepreneurship This academy offers students interested in the career field of business a chance to participate in classroom as well as hands on instruction in related fields. Sample careers would include small business ownership, accounting, financial services, customer service, marketing analysis, human resources, management and administrative services.
Careers in Education This academy is an introduction to careers in education. In addition, all students are required to observe and participate in a variety of settings and classrooms at the elementary and secondary levels.
West Arts Center
The West Arts Center is located exactly one mile west from Central West Campus. The West Arts Center houses performing arts classes, such as piano, dance, ballet, choir, guitar and theater classes. Students who would like the opportunity to take classes at this campus will be shuttled to and from their home campus, either East or West.
