It is with great pride that I welcome you to Central High School and the 2016-2017 school year. Central High School is the only comprehensive high school in the Central Unified School District and we continue a rich tradition of academic excellence and student achievement. Our school is home to over 4200 students and a staff that understands character, innovation, continuous improvement, and leadership.
Central High School is committed to work diligently to maintain high educational standards to make Central High School the premier school in the valley. We will do this by connecting students to our community, expose students to real-world problem solving, and providing students with challenging environments in every classroom. We are charged with the responsibility of preparing all students for college, career, and community. Therefore, our curriculum is rigorous and challenging, our instruction is engaging and effective, and our thinking is innovative and forward.
To our Central parents, I encourage you to stay connected to our school and involved in your child’s education. Do not hesitate to communicate with our staff and share any ideas, comments, or concerns. I am looking forward to a positive and productive year. Go Grizzlies!
