Health Careers Academy Pathway

 

 

Our program provides exemplary and innovative education opportunities for students in grades 9-12, who are pursuing a career in healthcare. The curriculum is aligned to core academic and CTE Health Science Medical Technology Standards and Frameworks, Career Preparatory, and Industry Standards.  A sequence of courses leading to entry, technical, and professional certificates are offered. Our students exhibit a consistently high passing rate in earning their certificates which places them a step forward right out of high school in their field of choice. We are proud of all our graduates who boast high entrance rates into nursing programs at the collegiate level from our pathway at Central High School.
