High school & junior high students and parents are invited to attend a live Town Hall: Preventing Teen Suicide, airing nationally on Tuesday, March 13, 5:45 – 7:30pm at Clovis Veteran’s Memorial. Central USD is working with the Suicide Prevention Collaborative (Fresno Cares) and KMPH FOX26 to host this media event with experienced and knowledgeable panelists. Welcome back Central High School families and friends! I hope you enjoyed a wonderful winter break, are recharged and ready to start a new semester. Coming off a very successful semester, both inside and outside the classroom, we are prepared to continue our rigorous, relevant, and forward-thinking instruction at CHS. Our skilled and devoted staff is prepared to meet the needs of every student, every day, and in every classroom. I am so fortunate to be part of our amazing learning community. I want to personally invite you to join us at our planning meetings, awards lunches, athletic events, parent meetings, or volunteer at one of our many events this semester. Both open and assigned tutoring will take place on Tuesday and Thursday’s after school from 2:45 -3:45 in the library. Tutoring that is available is English, social studies, math, science or Spanish.
